cover written from Millbrook addressed to Albert Barre the famous French engraver of the 1st stamps of France and Greece Hermes bearing SG103, 3d rose plate 5 tied by Jersey 409 duplex dated 30th January with circular PD routed via London with m/s "Recue 12 Feb". This letter was written 3 days after the end of the siege, a historic item from the Barre correspondence. (pt)
