Early TUCKS Picture Postcard (ships, boats), to Cairo, routed via Genoa on the Italian Steamer "Cairo" with the unframed cachet "Sauve du Naufrage du Cairo / Saved from the Wreck of the Cairo" in Violet with Alexandrian 6 111 05 datestamp arrival on forwarded to Paris. The Steamer Cairo left Genova bound for Italian Somaliland and went down in the entrance to Alexandria harbour. (pt)
