Written from Pondicherry with boxed "Pondicherry Post Paid" in red routed via Madras with oval "Out Station / Madras / Ship Letter" with endorsed accountancy "Ship Letter 4 / Inland 5 to Madras" addressed to London with boxed "India Letter Liverpool (Robertson In I) applied in transit with tax erased and forwarded in m/s by Deveax & Co London via Calais to Nantes and taxed 22 on arrival.
