Envelope to New York SG146, 15c scarlet (3) tied by "Victoria Hong Kong 6pm / 3 Dec 41" double-ring with boxed "Not Opened by Censor" with boxed instructional "Detained in Hong Kong by Japanese / From December 1941 to September 1945" with handstamp Retour and boxed "No Service" in violet. The last convoy of mail left Hong Kong at Noon on 6th Dec this cover was franked for Air Mail use and is one of the few recorded on the last day for mail. Rare item. (pt)
