ChinaFrance "WRECK MAIL" 1901 envelope from Algeria
cover to Paris from Nemours Oran, bearing the cachet Naufrage de la Russie in Violet with Paris arrival on reverse. The steamer Russie was stranded in high seas of Faraman near Marseille on the morning of 7th January 1901 the mail was resued by divers and all lives saved. (pt)
